We’re so excited for our 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat Chili / Cookoff! This year the event will be held at the Icehouse Amphitheater Pavilion in Lexington. There will be trunks with candy for the kids, a chance to taste delicious chili made by our church family, food trucks, games, music and more! Midtown Students is excited to host an FOC River Float Trip for our High School Students! This event is for all students in 9th - 12th grade. Together, we will float the Saluda River from the Saluda Riverwalk to the West Columbia Riverwalk Park & Amphitheater. Afterwards, we will enjoy a picnic at the West Cola Riverwalk. Drop-off: 3pm. Pick-up: 7PM
Drop-off for this event will take place at the Saluda Riverwalk (650 Candi Lane Columbia, SC 29210) and Pick-up is at the West Columbia Riverwalk (121 Alexander Street West Columbia, SC 29169). High schoolers who park their cars at Saluda will be transported back by adult volunteers.

We will host a Member Meeting Potluck at our building on Sunday, August 18th, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
This meeting is for all missionary members. We will eat together, prepare and pray for the upcoming season as a church family. Midtown will provide meats, while members can sign up to bring sides or desserts.
Childcare will be provided with RSVP.

The Summer Rhythm is for middle and high school students to beat the heat, show-off their belly flop, and enjoy an afternoon together. The Pool Party will be hosted at a family’s home in Lexington and the address will be sent after signing up. We’ll be having fun from 2 - 5 PM.

A family in our church has graciously opened up their lake house, where we will be grilling out, boating, tubing, swimming, and doing lots more fun activities!
Drop-off & Pick-up for this event will take place at the Lexington Church. Drop-off from 8:45 - 9 AM. Pick-up is at 5PM. All students will be carpooling with DMV background checked drivers. We are unable to accommodate late drop-off or early pick-up at the lake house.
The cost of registration is $5. Lunch will be provided for students.
Registration closes July 10th at noon. Registration cost is non-refundable after that time.

The Tournament Night is an opportunity for middle and high school students to engage in some friendly competition with individual and team tournaments like: Ping Pong, Cornhole, Dodgeball, and Super Smash Bros. The winner of each tournament will go home with a prize! . Tournament Night will take place from 5 - 8pm @ Midtown Downtown.

Midtown Students is excited to host a Nerf War for our Middle School Students! This event is for all students entering 6th grade - those entering 8th grade in August. Hosted at the Midtown Downtown Offices and Students Building, we will have an afternoon full of high-adrenaline games from 3-5PM. Nerf guns will be provided for students.
Carpooling will be available from the Lexington Church Building. To carpool, students must sign up by June 26th at noon.

This informal event will be hosted at the newly re-opened Virginia Hylton Park after the June 23rd gathering from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. Grab a picnic blanket, pick up some lunch then head to the park to enjoy spending time with other Midtown Students families. Midtown will not be providing lunch but will have a cooler filled with water and soda for everyone to enjoy.

On Saturday, August 26th from 9am-12pm we will take it back to the 80’s at Sports and Skate Station USA in Lexington. Come dressed in your best 80’s outfit (there will be prizes!), and let’s enjoy one of America’s favorite pastimes!

Our Family of Churches is hosting a Students Summer Rhythm to Carowinds on August 6th. The Carowinds Summer Rhythm is an all day event for middle and high school students to experience the best rollercoasters the Carolinas have to offer! Registration for this event is $40 and will cover the cost of admission to the park and transportation. Students should plan to bring additional money for lunch, dinner, and snacks. The deadline to register for Carowinds is July 23rd. Drop-off and pick-up will be at Midtown Downtown’s Student Warehouse. Students will depart the church campus at 9am and return around 9pm.
