We believe church is a family, not an event. So when we gather together, we want people to form genuine relationships. If you're new, please introduce yourself by filling out our digital connect card so we can make contact with you.
We would love for you to connect with our Midtown family by participating in any of the following:
LifeGroups make up the core of our church, where we live out our vision as a Jesus-centered family on mission during the week. Our desire is that everyone in our church would connect through a LifeGroup.
Serving allows each of us to leverage our lives to love others just like Jesus did for us. Whether it’s Host Team, Students or Kidtown, opportunities to serve are available on Sundays and throughout the week.
Midtown Class covers the basics of how our church works and functions as our membership class. The class is taken online and completed with an in-person discussion & lunch with our pastors.
Serve the City aims to reflect God’s heart for the vulnerable by partnering with local organizations to serve the orphaned, widowed, poor, and sick in our community. Throughout the year, we join their efforts and offer encouragement.
Recovery meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. Our focus is on the gospel leading us to repentance and healing, so it applies to any area of life, no matter how seemingly big or small.
Serve the City and Recovery are ministries that are a part of our Family of Churches.
Milestones is an 18-year discipleship program designed to equip parents to raise kids who love Jesus. It empowers parents to be confident and joy-filled as they guide their children toward Godward independence.
Kidtown exists to help the church raise kids who love Jesus. On Sundays we serve kids (6 weeks-3rd grade) through Bible teaching, singing and building relationships, supporting parents in discipling their children.
Preteens equips 4th and 5th graders to relate to God in age-appropriate ways and prepares them for the transition to Midtown Students. Sunday nights we’ll play games, build relationships, and learn about how to apply Jesus’ teachings to our lives.
Midtown Students exists to connect middle and high school students to God, His people, and His mission. We believe Jesus is better than anything else and we want students to find their identity, belonging, and purpose in Him. We do this by meeting on Sunday nights with 6th-12th graders to worship God by building relationships and applying Jesus’ teaching to our lives.
REVELATION | THE ADVENT OF JESUS
The word Advent means “arrival,” and this time of year, the global church celebrates the arrival of the birth of Jesus. But this celebration is not an end in itself. It’s a reason to hope as we look ahead to the second Advent - the return of Jesus.
For the next four weeks, we’re looking at the book of Revelation and what Jesus’ second Advent will look like. Far from being a book filled with hidden codes and secrets, Revelation teaches us how to live between the first and second Advent. Because Jesus was born, we can live with the hope that Jesus will return. All our hope for the future is tied to a baby that gives us a “no matter what” hope for the future.
This series is part of our Year of Biblical Literacy initiative.
