Midtown churches are safe places not to be okay. Recovery is a group that meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. It is for anyone facing a battle in their life—personal sin struggles, dealing with emotional scars, or any other issue. Although Recovery sometimes has the connotation of dealing with addictions only, this is not the case in our family of churches. Our focus is on the gospel leading us to repentance and healing, so it applies to any area of life, no matter how seemingly big or small.
We want this to be a safe, family environment where you can come and deal honestly and openly with your struggles, and let Jesus begin to heal and free you in the midst of biblical family.
UPCOMING RECOVERY CYCLES
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Our Recovery cycles run twice a year on Monday evenings at 6:00pm hosted at our Downtown church (what is a ‘Family of Churches?).
The Recovery curriculum will be provided for you. At this time, Childcare is not provided.
What happens during Recovery?
We gather for a short time of worship and teaching, then we break up into gender specific small groups for discussion, encouragement and prayer.
If you have questions about Recovery, please e-mail Ryan Rike.
