On October 25 from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., we will gather outdoors at our Downtown church parking lot for a time of worship and prayer. Please bring a lawn chair and electronic device with you and park off-campus.
We are using this time of gathering to support one of our Serve the City partnerships, Transitions Homeless Shelter. We will collect new men’s and women’s undergarments including undershirts, sports bras, and underwear and packaged basic hygiene items such as deodorant, feminine products, toothbrushes, travel size body wash or small hotel soaps, socks, and disposable razors. These basic items symbolize the dignity given to each of us as the image-bearers of God. Underwear and hygiene products are simple but are part of the process of restoration.
To practice social distancing, we will be doing the following:
Face masks are required. If you don’t have one, we can provide one for you while supplies last.
Song lyrics and prayer prompts will be available on our website so bring an electronic device— cell phone, tablet, etc.
People are encouraged to sit 6-feet away from others who not a part of their household.
Hand sanitation stations will be available.
Foot-traffic will be one way, if you need to use restrooms inside our building.
Childcare will not be provided.
