Sermon by Brandon Clements on March 29, 2026.
Key scripture: John 16:16-22
In John 16 Jesus teaches that the crushing grief of the crucifixion will be supernaturally transformed into the "unsinkable joy" of the resurrection. Using the metaphor of childbirth, Jesus illustrates how the coming renewal of all things in Christ provides a hope so certain and permanent that it can reframe even the most life-altering pains and disappointments.
Sermon by Andrew Flowers on March 22, 2026.
Key scripture: John 16:5-15
Jesus promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would not only be with them but would actively work in their lives. In John 16:5-15, Jesus spells out the Spirit's job description — convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, guiding believers into truth, and ultimately pointing us to the glory of Christ. Through three pictures of light, we see a Spirit who diagnoses our deepest problem, lights the path forward, and keeps our eyes fixed on the only One who can save.
Sermon by Michael Bailey on March 15, 2026.
Key scripture: John 15:18-27
Following Jesus changes more than what we believe—it changes how we live in the world. In John 15:18–27, Jesus prepares his disciples for the reality that faithfulness to him will sometimes create tension with the world around them. Yet he also reminds them that they are not alone: the Holy Spirit empowers believers to stand firm and bear witness to Christ with courage and love.
Sermon by Michael Bailey on March 8, 2026.
Key scripture: John 15:1-11
In John 15, through the image of the vine and the branches, Jesus reveals where real, lasting change actually comes from. If you’ve ever felt stuck, weary, or resigned in your spiritual growth, he reminds us that fruit isn’t produced by striving harder—but by abiding deeper. When we stay connected to Christ, trust the Father’s pruning, and walk in obedient faith, He produces the kind of transformation we could never manufacture on our own.
Sermon by Brandon Clements on March 1, 2026.
Key scripture: John 14:15-31
As Jesus prepared his disciples for his death, resurrection and ascension, he knew they would have major fears. But the promise he gave them was even greater than their fear–that the Helper, or in Greek, parakletos, is coming. And the incredible news they heard about the Holy Spirit resonates just as deeply today.

Key scripture: John 11:45-12:11
The raising of Lazarus set in motion the chain of events that would escalate to Jesus’ crucifixion. In John 11:45-12:11, John shows us the responses to Jesus become increasingly polarized. The Pharisees see him as a threat and plot to kill him. Mary sees him as worthy of worship and anoints him with costly perfume. The same tension exists for us. Will see respond to Jesus as a threat to what we hold dear, or worthy of it all?
Sermon by Brandon Clements on November 16, 2025.
Key scripture: John 11:1-44
As tension heats up between Jesus and the Jewish leaders, a close friend of Jesus’ falls gravely ill and dies. Jesus responds to the suffering of his close friends by raising Lazarus from the dead, and this event seals the fate of Jesus. Lazarus’ resurrection would lead to Jesus’ cross, which leads to resurrection life for all who trust him.

Key scripture: John 9:1-41

Sermon by Michael Bailey on October 19, 2025.
Key scripture: John 7:1–52
Jesus never leaves us neutral. In John 7, as crowds argue and brothers doubt, Jesus steps into the tension with truth that demands a response. He’s either crazy, deceptive—or the Christ. What are we going to do with him?
