Midtown Class is a three-session online class covering our church's overall vision and mission. Midtown pastors and pastors-in-training teach the course. The class is completed with an in-person discussion & lunch with Midtown Lexington pastors on April 28th from 12 pm - 2 pm.

The Midtown Class is also the avenue for becoming a missionary member of our church.

Each and every Sunday we gather to celebrate our risen Savior, Jesus! Though that is true, the church for hundreds of years has set apart Easter Sunday as a day to specifically celebrate the wonder and good news of Christ’s resurrection.

To be able to celebrate Easter as an entire church family, we will host our Easter Gathering on March 31 at the Icehouse Amphitheater in downtown Lexington, right at a mile away from our building at 107 W Main Street.

Arrive a little early at 9:30am as we will have coffee, doughnuts, and some fun games for everyone to enjoy. The Easter Gathering will begin at our usual time, 10:00am.

We look forward to being able to celebrate Easter together as one, big church family!

On March 29 at 6:30pm, we will kick off Easter Weekend by hosting a Good Friday Service. This service will be a night of reverent meditation on and celebration of what Jesus accomplished for us in the hours He was hanging on the cross . Our Good Friday Gathering will include singing to Jesus and prayer reflecting on both our sin and His sacrifice. 

Kidtown will be available during the service.

We will host a Member Meeting Potluck at our building on Sunday, January 21, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.  

This meeting is for all missionary members. We will eat together, prepare and pray for the upcoming season as a church family. Midtown will provide meats, while members can sign up to bring sides or desserts.

Childcare will be provided.

On Friday, January 19th, we will begin our ministry year together with a Night of Prayer and Worship from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

We plan to pray and sing to the Lord while asking Him to let us see His Kingdom come here in Lexington.

Our prayer is that during this time together, God changes our hearts and the hearts of those in our city as we enter into our next season as a church family.

In light of the holiday season, we will not be hosting a Sunday Gathering on Sunday, December 31.

Each year around Christmas, we take some time off to allow our staff time with their families, and to remind ourselves that church is more than a Gathering. For information more information on why we take time off, visit this link.

Gatherings will resume on January 7 at 10:00am.

On Saturday, August 26th from 9am-12pm we will take it back to the 80’s at Sports and Skate Station USA in Lexington. Come dressed in your best 80’s outfit (there will be prizes!), and let’s enjoy one of America’s favorite pastimes!

Admission, skate rental, pizza and drinks are FREE! The snack bar will be open to purchase candy, etc.

On Friday, August 25, we will begin Kickoff Weekend with a Night of Prayer and Worship from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

We will host a Family Fun Night at Segra Park for our Family of Churches on June 28 at 6:00pm.

Family Fun Night is a community event for kids and parents to enjoy our local minor league baseball team. We will sit together in a block of reserved seats and the game should last around 3 hours. Additionally, kids are invited to play catch on the field 30 minutes before the first pitch.

The cost is $5 per person with a $15 family maximum.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other Midtown families as well as invite new families to join our community!

Registration closes at noon on Monday, June 26th.

Looking for a serving opportunity? Our Lexington church will be partnering with Ezekiel Ministries of Lexington to host a Ladies Night on Thursday, June 22 from 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

This night will be an opportunity for moms of children who attend attend Ezekiel to enjoy a nice dinner, participate in an art project, worship, and hear what the Bible says about our identity being found in Christ alone.

We are looking for 20-25 women from Midtown to volunteer to either serve food or host a table.

Our Lexington church will hold our first "The Table" get-together on Saturday, May 20, from 9 am-11 am. 

The Table intends to create an intentionally vulnerable space for women willing to be challenged by God's word and to apply it purposefully to their lives. Katie Coleman will host it in her home. 

We will enjoy brunch (Bring your favorite brunch dish to share). We will be presented with scripture and a devotional focus before we break into groups of around 5 to discuss curated questions intended to promote deeper discussions and reflection on who God is and how our lives reflect him.

Childcare will not be available.
