Recovery

recovery_withtext_web.jpg

Recovery is a group that meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. It is for anyone facing a battle in their life—personal sin struggles, dealing with emotional scars, or any other issue. It's a safe, family environment where you can come and deal honestly and openly with your struggles, and let Jesus begin to heal and free you in the midst of biblical family.

We gather for a short time of worship and teaching, then we break up into gender-specific small groups for discussion, encouragement, and prayer. For more information, visit our Recovery page.

We meet Monday evenings at 6:00pm in our Student Groups Building at 1819 Taylor Street. The Recovery curriculum will be provided for you. Childcare can be provided if needed. If you’re attending and need childcare, contact Ryan Rike.

Family Worship Night

Family Worship Night Web.jpg

Join us on Sunday, November 4 from 5:00pm-6:00pm and invite your friends to our first ever city-wide Family Worship Night. Our Kids and Families ministry works by partnering with parents to raise kids who love Jesus. One way we do that is by hosting events that help support family discipleship and keep our families connected with one another. At our Family Worship Night we’ll sing some of our favorite Kidtown songs, pray, and read scripture together.

This event will be hosted in the Kidtown area of our Downtown Church located at 1800 Blanding Street.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email us here.

Sundays In The Summer | Picnic in the Park

Sundays in the Summer are events we will be holding the first Sunday of each month. This will be an opportunity for us as a church family to get to know each other better and practice being family. So come out this summer to build community, love on our church family, and last but not least have fun!

Our first event of the Summer will be a Picnic in the Park on July 1 at Saluda Shoals Park. We will be there from 4:30pm-7:30pm. There will be picnic food, a water playground for kids and shelters and fields to play in.

Contact Michael Bailey for more info.

STC | Home Works Building Blitz

On Saturday, May 12th, we will be hosting a House Building Blitz with our Serve the City partner Home Works for America. Many of the homeowners Home Works helps out live in homes that are in utter disrepair and are financially and/or physically unable to do the repairs themselves. This Serve the City event is a great way to leverage your time and abilities to serve those in need in our city.

This event is not young kid-friendly, but if you have middle school or high-school children, they can participate with you.

Recovery

Recovery is a group that meets in an 11 week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. It is for anyone facing a battle in their life—personal sin struggles, dealing with emotional scars, or any other issue. It's a safe, family environment where you can come and deal honestly and openly with your struggles, and let Jesus begin to heal and free you in the midst of biblical family.

We gather for a short time of worship and teaching, then we break up into gender specific small groups for discussion, encouragement, and prayer. For more information, visit our Recovery page.

We meet Monday evenings at 6:00pm at our Downtown location. The Recovery curriculum will be provided for you. Childcare can be provided if needed. If you’re attending and need childcare, contact Ryan Rike.
