In 2016 our church plant publicly launched at Meadow Glen Elementary School. It has been the perfect home for us the past few years, but being a mobile church with no space of your own limits what you can do ministry-wise in significant ways. We’ve been praying for God to provide a permanent place for us to gather on Sundays and throughout the week. Recently He opened up an option that we are very excited about!
924 E. Main St resides in the heart of Lexington, right off I-20 with quick access to surrounding areas. It is currently an empty warehouse that we are upfitting into an auditorium with plenty of room for our ever-growing Kidtown ministry on the other side.
We are thrilled to have our own space to host Sunday Gatherings with a dedicated space for kids that allows them to learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment.
In addition to Sundays, we look forward to using this space to host Member Meetings, LifeGroup events, LifeGroup Leader Meetings, Student Groups, classes, Bible studies, Kids Week, seminars, and Family Worship Nights. We also envision this space being used for community and outreach events.
The proposed new location is 924 E. Main St. The building resides in the heart of Lexington, right off I-20 with quick access to surrounding areas.
Our hope is that all of our current and future kids would grow up to think about this space fondly as a place where they learned about Jesus and his grace, how the church is designed to be a family, and how to leverage their lives to help others know Jesus. We even want this move to be something that trains their little hearts to ask God to meet needs that we can’t.
We’ve been saving up for a move like this for the past few years, and by God’s grace we have raised over $267,000 and plan to close in early December.
